The paper defined the concepts of examination, malpractice, examination malpractice and its numerous forms and sorting. It revealed the origin of examination malpractice in Nigeria, identified the traces of intended malpractices and explained the causal factors of examination malpractices. The paper highlighted the effects and consequences of examination malpractices in Schools and Universities and the efforts made to curb examination misconduct.
